For those visitors who are longing to ride a horse in African wilderness but are restrained from diving into an all out camp-based riding safari, perhaps due to having children or non-riders in their party, a pleasant alternative is available.
You can relax in attractive stone and canvas, thatched bandas with ensuite bathrooms, comfortably furnished and beautifully situated along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.
There is a large open-fronted dining and sitting area with a big fire place and a lovely view over the river to a salt lick which is on the opposite slope and visited by a variety of wild animals.
